When we started gaming, we’d put books on the table for hills, pop cans for towers, and paper with the word ‘forest’ written on it for the, well, forests.
And to be honest, that still works. You game with what you’ve got, after all.
But when it comes down to it, terrain makes the table. Awesome models with great paint jobs just don’t feel the same on a sheet of grey construction paper marked ‘ruins’. They need a table that fits the time and effort you’ve put into them.
